Game times and length will be determined based on the number of teams filled out. e.g. more teams might mean shorter games but more of them.
Note that if there is enough interest we may move up the start time.
You are required to have:
We recommend a face shield/cage and girdle or hip pads, though those are not required. Players may choose to wear shoulder pads if they choose to do so.
Please bring a light and dark jersey
Battlepoint Park has a sport court surface that has lived outdoors for years. It is a slick surface so you need "indoor" or "soft" wheels. Outdoor wheels that work well on concrete do not grip very well.

If you win the championship you will get a stiff handshake and a "congratulations" at most. The purpose of this tournament is to grow the sport, build community and have fun. Play hard but be a good person.
The organizers reserve the right to remove anyone from the tournament for dangerous, unsportsmanlike, discriminatory, or other unsatisfactory conduct.
Absolutely! When you register we ask for your roller hockey, ice hockey, and general skating experience. This will help us even out the teams to ensure competitive balance. We do ask that you understand the rules of the game and know how to skate safely.
If you would like to "practice" prior to the tournament, please reach out on discord. We have groups that play in Seattle on most Mondays and Bainbridge Island some Sundays.
Yes! WRHA is a volunteer run non-profit with a mission to make roller hockey more accessible in the Puget Sound and beyond. The tournament fee covers the operating costs of the tournament. Any proceeds will go to the WRHA for future adult or youth programming.
And for this tournament, goalies are free.
If you would like to donate more, you may do so at the same Zelle and Venmo links in the sign up. We appreciate your support.
At this time we cannot accommodate minors (those under 18). Stay tuned for youth programming and opportunities coming soon.
